Pros: Works great. Works faster if taken at first signs of pain.
Cons: Takes a while to kick in.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend Midol Maximum Strength Menstrual for the relief of cramps, bloating, headaches, and fatigue.

WARNING reading this will give you more information about me, that you never wanted to know. :)
I have had nothing, but illness every month since 9th grade. I literally get ill on my first day. Vomiting, chills, major cramping pains, unable to eat or drink, and totally out of it. Nothing was out on the market for me then. But now I have help. Midol saved me from certain doom, doom of being sick, one day every month. You try explaining to your track coach or your boss that you can't even crawl to the bathroom fast enough, let alone come to school or work. Thank God I am a stay at home mom now.
It has gotten worse as I have got older. Please just rip out the equipment and let me live my life. Can't have any more children so why suffer. When Midol first came out I asked my doctor if this could be the miracle, I had been waiting for. He checked it out and said it couldn't hurt to try. So I ran to the store for a box. SOLD OUT. N O!!!!
Well the next trip I found it fully stocked for all those poor husbands or fathers who are so hopeing that this pill will bring back their loved one. :) Midol only had one version then, but times have changed. I always have these in my house, a dose in my van, and two doses in my purse.

Midol now has many versions like: Cramp Formula, PMS Formula & Teen Formula. I am writing about Maximum Strength Menstrual Formula Gelcaps. Comes in gel-caps and little round coated pills, also old-fashioned round un-coated powder pill. This Menstrual Formula is aspirin-free. So I can take it with my regular daily pills without any adverse reaction.
Provides maximum strength relief of painful symptoms. Contains a combination of asprin-free ingredients which is not found in any other ordinary pain reliever. This package comes with 24 gelcaps individually wraped per dose. Meaning two gelcaps are together in groups of four. Perfect for in your purse or even your pocket.
Indications:
Provides maximum strength relief of: cramps, bloating, water weight-gain, headaches, backaches, and fatigue.
Directions:
Adults and children 12 years and over; Take 2 gelcaps with water. I use milk. Repeat every 4 hours, as needed. Up to a maximum of 8 gel-caps per day. Under 12 consult your doctor.
Warnings:
Do not take this product for more than 10 days unless directed by doctor. If pain persists for more than 10 days, consult your doctor. May cause drowsiness; alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. Avoid alcohol while taking these pills. Use caution while driving and or operating heavy machinery. May cause hyperness, especially in children. The dose of two gel-caps contains as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Limit the use of caffeine-containing medications, foods, or beverages while taking this product, because too much caffeine may cause nerviousness, irratablity, sleeplessness, and occasionally, rapid heartbeat. Do not take this product, unless directed by a doctor, if you have breathing problems such as emphysema, or cronic bronchitis or if you have glaucoma or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Keep these and other medications out of the reach of children. If you are pregnant {wonder why you'd need this anyway} or nursing, consult your doctor immediatly.
Active Ingredients:
Each gelcap contains Acetaminophen 500mg, Caffeine 60mg, and Pyrilamine Maleate 15mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Croscarmellose Sodium, D & C Red #33 Lake, EDTA Sodium, FD &C Blue #1 Lake, Gelatin, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl, Methylcellose, Iron Oxide, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Starch, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Triacetin.
Store @ room temperature; avoid excessive heat 40*C (104*F).
