Pros: saved me from the WORST girly pain
Cons: takes a litte long to kick in
The Bottom Line: have girly pains? have BAD girly pains??? midol extra strength is about all you need to end them forever!

as i'm writing this i'm still shaky from the pain i was going through a few hours earlier. for the first time in a while my cramps, overall body pain & nausea were raging something fierce. it had only been this bad a couple times, and i've had BAD pains before.
anyway, i could feel something brewing in my girly areas so i quickly scanned the internet for which product had a reputation for actually working and not just being a general pain reliever which did little to nothing for my hellish cramps. right about the time that i read reviews for midol maximum strength i was unable to do anything but curl up on my bed and cry. my darling husband asked if there was anything he could do and i said "buy whatever product is on my monitor. that stuff is supposed to be good", and off he went. when he returned the pain was even worse and i was starting to fear my pains were something worse than just the monthly kind. i was mentally making plans to go to the emergency room if the pills didn't kick in. but since i really can't afford a hospital trip i took the pills in hopes they would make a dent in the pain.
fast forward about 45 minutes. pain vanishes. 100% of my raging pain was gone, and all that was left was usual discomfort in my girly region. i can totally deal with that stuff. these pills took me from biting the pillow to having a long 'thank you' conversation with my husband. what a wonderful product.
now that i'm lucid again i've noticed that caffine is a major ingredient in the pills, but i don't feel it at all. i even took a half hour nap right after the pills kicked in. this is unusal for me, because i am pretty sensitive to uppers, but i feel great now instead of amped on caffine. the only thing that might be improved with this product is a quicker response time. 45 minutes is a terrible wait when you are in bad pain, however i'm still surprised it worked as well as it did. all hail midol!
