This stuff works pretty great to relieve pains from having your period and bloating, but don't expect to be awake long enough to experience a pain free day. The only time i have taken this is when a friend gave it to me one night and boy was i tired. The Midol worked through the night and into the next morning, but I had to go to bed early because i was so tired. i didn't expect to be so tired from a pain reliever but i read the box and it had a warning about drowsiness. i would rather take aspirin or ibuprofen because those don't make me tired and they work great for me and they don't cost as much. i suggest taking midol if you have severe pain and are trying to go to bed but i really discourage it if you are going to be driving or going to work.
