About a week before my period, I start turning into a person that I don't like very much. I bloat, I gain weight, I get cramps, I get headaches . . . I get mean.
Consequently, I am always looking for ways to relieve these symptoms. I hate when I feel this way, and I hate the way I can make people feel when I am like this.
I tried water pills. They relieved the bloat, but not the cramps or the headaches. Not the mean, either, and i think that's the part about my period I hate the most.
Pamprin works fairly well, but I don't notice any significant bloat relief with it, and that makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm not quite so b***chy, but I still am a little, and I am convinced that it is mostly the physical symptoms that make me that way.
Midol relieves all of my once-a-month symptoms, and when I take it starting the week before my period, I only have to put up with the inconvenience of it when it comes, not all the other nasties. No bloat, no weight gain, no cramps, no headache . . . no hatefulness. It's great, and it's inexpensive.
I wouldn't want to do without it . . . and neither would my family or co-workers.
