I feel like it is our job at Epinions to educate others. Remember guys, knowledge is power. I feel I am an expert on every premenstrual or menstrual symptoms, and if you know about this great product you might be able to help the female in your life during this time of the month.
Midol is manufactured by Bayer. Can you believe that Midol has been made in one form or another for 90 years? Bayer is known for quality products and we are not disappointed with this product. The active ingredients are; acetaminophen, which helps with headaches, backaches, and muscle aches, caffeine, which helps with fatigue and acts as a diuretic, pyrilamine maleate, which is an antihistamine which helps with cramp relief.
Midol Maximum Strength comes in bottles of 16 tablets and 24 tablets. You can get them in either gel caps or caplet form. Which you buy depends on your ability to swallow pills. In either form you take two tablets every four hours. You cannot take more than 8 tablets in a 24 hour period.
I take Midol at the first symptom and have NO problems. My only complaint is that they took off the market the Midol PM. I really liked the product. My resistance to pain is less at night and the added ingredients to help me sleep were appreciated.
I am a very active woman. I am not going to let my period stop me from participating in work, sports, or any other form of fun.
You need to take note that there is caffeine in this product if you are sensitive to it. I am the opposite. I am definitely need it everyday. The nice thing for me is that I am not going to get the headaches that I sometimes do get when I forget to have my morning coffee or afternoon soda. It isn't like I need another pain. It also REALLY helps me with the water-weight gain. There is nothing more frustrating than to gain that extra few pounds every month. It isn't a problem if you are taking your Midol every four hours.
Anther big selling point is that if you are sensitive to aspirin products there are none in Midol Maximum Strenth. You won't have the stomach irritation that sometimes occurs with aspirin products.
You can find Midol Maximum Strength at your grocery store or drugstore. I was thrilled to find it at my local discount store. There are periodically coupons in the Sunday paper. When the coupons come out it is a great time to stock up.
Note to the men------ What is good for your wife or girlfriend is indeed good for you. I have been using Midol for years. I recommend having it in your medicine chest.
