maxstones's Full Review: Miles Davis and Quincy Troupe - Miles: The Autobio...
Miles Davis is one of my all-time favorite artists.his work for me is very on time.he reflects on the artists that he has worked with&his thoughts on different artists.also he deals with race.he is very honest about his treatment in the united states&overseas.he talks about his relationships very interesting.the many changes of his music&influences.also his many great bands.also his upbringing.when you read this book you find a very straight to the point man.he doesn't hold back which i admire about him.also how he reflects on the changing sounds through the years.this book pulls no punches on anything.you go through a time travel with him.this book i have read from cover to cover at least ten plus times not to mention just glance at it every now&then.i remember when i first got it about ten years back&my excitement.an artist like this will capture your full attention.you want to know as much as possible about them.
