Anyone who has drank Miller Lite knows that it is a weak, watery concoction, barely worthy of being called beer. It's cousin, Miller Lite Ice, is a slight improvement, but not by much. This ice- brewed beer is very similar to Miller Lite: golden colored, grainy aroma, devoid of quality ingredients, etc. What sets the two apart is the additional alcohol that is present in Miller Lite Ice. You can taste the difference that alcohol makes. It is primarily present in the beer's finish. The additional alcohol also gives this beer and acidic aroma.
Like other ice- brewed beers, Miller Lite Ice can really knock you out in a short time if you allow it to. The alcohol level is 5.5% by volume. Regular Miller Lite is just over 4%. This may not sound like much difference, but it does add up. If you drink about 4 cans of Miller Lite Ice, you have consumed roughly the same amount of alcohol as drinking a six pack of Miller Lite.
Miller Lite Ice is a little better tasting than regular Miller Lite, so if you have to choose one of the two, the ice- brewed variety would be the one to buy. Just be prepared for the effects you will experience that evening, as well as into the next morning. That is, if you remember anything the next morning! Overall, a forgettable beer.
