User Rating: Excellent
Pros:Very use, versatile, fun, nice theme
Cons:Little pieces, seatbelts almost impossible for kids to use
The Bottom Line: This is a great set that is fun for lots of imaginative play.
We have had a growing collection of mini Lalaloopsy dolls, but no accessories. My two girls have been begging for accessories, so I actually gave this to my daughter as an early birthday gift when we were away on vacation, since it seemed they were overdue for some kind of accessories after playing with their Lalaloopsy dolls for such a long time.

I have seen this set in stores for around $18-20, but I bought it used for about half price at a consignment shop. I generally shop for Lalaloopsy products at places like Walmart, Target, or Amazon. The set comes with the bus, Mini Lalaloopsy Bea Spells-a-Lot, an owl, briefcase, and road cone. The bus is recommended for holding up to 6 Lalaloopsy dolls.
My kids really like the Bea Spells-a-Lot doll. She has dark orange hair and her outfit is what I would describe as maybe a crossing guard theme. Her outfit is dark pink, orange, and yellow, with black accents on the trim and sleeves. She also has tall black lace-up Converse type shoes. The doll is entirely hard plastic, including her hair and clothes. Her arms and legs move, and her head rotates.
The accessories are tiny, and unfortunately easy to lose! There is a tiny pink owl wearing a black hat, a briefcase type bag, and a road cone, all made out of a hard plastic material. I don't know if my kids really use the road cone, but they enjoy the owl and the briefcase.
The bus is cute and well-made. Like the dolls, the bus incorporates "craft" type items into it's construction, like pencils and a ruler lining the sides of the bus. The wheels actually rotate and look like large buttons, in a variety of colors (the steering wheel too). The seats are pink and say "eraser" on each. There are lots of great details and touches like a stop sign that folds out and a button steering wheel. I didn't even notice that there are "seatbelts" until I was writing this review and read a description of the set online. There are little pieces of elastic tucked in the back of the seats that you can pull out and use to hold the dolls in place. The only problem is, the elastic is very hard to grab. I have a really tough time getting it with my fingernails, and it is virtually impossible for my girls.
The design of the school bus makes it easy for my girls to use. The entire top is open, and the back has a wavy slide that folds down. The bus does fit 6 little dolls in it, but my kids are always using it for a variety of things, including lots of the Lalaloopsy accessories. The dolls actually sit pretty decently in the bus even without the aid of the seatbelts.
My kids really love this set; in fact, they fought over it quite a bit when we gave it to them, and they still play with it often. Sometimes the girls forget the names of their other mini dolls, but they never forget Bea's name, and they really enjoy the school bus. I am very happy that I bought this set and it makes it so much worth it to have a nice accessory alongside the mini Lalaloopsy dolls.
