| deadzone's Full Review: Miracle Blade Perfection Series Knives |
My parents bought the miracle blades when they first came out. I actually thought it was a good product. They stayed sharp and lasted for all this time. So, it was a no brainer for me to buy the next installment. These things should get better over time right? Boy was I dead wrong. These are by far one of the worst sets I have ever used. Are they sharp? Yes... but that's about it. The blades are advertised as stainless steel, but they rust like crazy. I never had this problem with other stainless steel knives. Isn't that what stainless steel is suppose to do... not rust. The stickers on the sides also started peeling within a year of use. Not that I care about having stickers on my knives, but why put them there in the first place if they are going to fall off so quickly? The final straw came when I saw that the outer coating (I guess the stainless part of the steel which actually isn't stainless) started chipping off. I don't cook a lot or use the knives that often, but they still fell apart on me very quickly. It's really too bad since they got it right the first time around and for some reason decided to release an inferior product.
