This year I did a little experiment with my tomatoes and Miracle Grow just to see what the difference would be. I planted four plants for the Miracle Grow and six plants without. At time of planting all of the plants were the same size when planted and planted in the same soil in the same conditions. I added the fertilizer to the four plants about once a week after adding 1 tablespoon of Miracle Grow per 1 gallon of water. I watered the six plants at the same time with only water.
What I first noticed was larger plants and healthier greener foliage in the feed plants. Then the flowers can on earlier and more per plant than the water only plants. After the little tomatoes starting coming on I stopped feeding and only watering the plants as needed. I have gotten a great amount of tomatoes off the four plants and only a few tomatoes off the six plants. The tomatoes on the feed plants were much bigger. This is important to me because I like to cook fried green tomatoes. I had so many green tomatoes that I could feed my family and still had plenty to share with my neighbors and friends.

There is the bag of fertilizer in a bag inside another clear plastic bag. The clear bag is for storing the Miracle Grow after it has been opened. Also inside there is a twist tie to secure the bag because it draws moisture if not closed. Included as well is green two-ended spoon on one end is the tablespoon measure and on the other side is the teaspoon measure. On the inside bag there are directions for jar feeders as well as directions for watering can for easy referral.
I purchased the 1.5 pound size and it contains 60 tablespoon of mixing powder.
My Final Thoughts
This product is great it really makes a big difference in the performance and size in the flowers and garden plants that I have grown. You should see my petunias they love it and my pansies crave it too. Annuals really thrive when feed this product.
There is one word of caution I must add read up on your plants for the best performance and longevity. The proper amounts of sunlight and soil conditions are important to know for each plant. Also some plants don't bloom as well as they might if feed too much fertilizer close to there blooming time. Chrysanthemums like to be fertilized early in the season but stop about the start of summer so it will bloom and not just form foliage, there are other plants like that as well so read up on your plants and use Miracle Grow and you can't go wrong.
