Pros: Good inexpensive protection, very durable
Cons: Bottom strap is a little strange
The Bottom Line: They are a little shorter than some, if you don't mind a smaller amount of coverage, they are a great pad.

The decision
I picked up a pair of Warp 0 elbow pads while putting together my first set of player gear. The main factor that influenced me to buy them was the price ($20). Hey, I'm cheap alright!
Why they were $20
Mission was still more of a brand associated with inline, and in fact still has something of that stigma. They have made some headway into the NHL with a fair number of players in their skates and even more using the M-1 sticks. However, for the general public, their protective gear is very affordable and generally of a very high quality.
Descrition
The Warp 0 elbow pads are a bit shorter than most of the pads on the market, just barely reaching the end of my gloves and offering no real protection above the elbows. One nice feature is the hard plastic piece on the top of the forearm that most pads lack. This will keep you from getting a few nasty bruises when getting slashed there. The elbow cup is deep and I have never had any issues when landing on them.
Mission utilized EPP (Expanded Polypropelyne) in these elbow pads, a material more commonly found in helmets. However, it is a great material that is being used in more hockey items each year. It is light and does a great job absorbing blows.
Comfort
The fit of the Warp 0 elbow pads was a little tight at first. I guess it took a few games for them to break in a little bit. Now they are pretty comfortable. They are well shaped and as a result do not have the annoying tendency to turn around on your arms like some elbow pads do.
The one thing that is a little annoying is the lower strap on these. The upper strap attaches to the pad itself and stays put nicely. The lower one however, wraps around and attaches to itself. It tend to slide down if you dont get it adjusted just so. I havent really had any issues with it moving during play, but getting it right in the locker room seems to take a little extra time.
Durability
I have been using these for several years now, skating 2 hours weekly, and they are still in top condition. All of the Velcro is still in good working order. The caps have not cracked. The lining and material is all still very solid. Of all my gear, these have outlasted everything.
Parting thoughts
The Warp 0 was a top of the line elbow pad when it was introduced. You can still find them online I believe and they are very inexpensive. I would highly recommend these as a comfortable recreational elbow pad for those who are not concerned about the maximum coverage.
