Durability:
Pros:Cool setup, bonus Player piece, awesome standard player pieces, bright and colorful, great for kids.
Cons:Difficult to understand.
The Bottom Line: Pokemon Monopoly is a fun game to play, but unless you are an extreme Pokemon fan, it is really overpriced.
Pokemon Monopoly Collector's Edition is awesome! I take it to my job (I work with kids) and they are allowed to play it with me on special occasions. The kids love the miniature pokemon player pieces, with 6 different pokemons to choose from, as well as a bonus piece! When comparing the Pokemon Monoply edition to the original Monopoly, kids prefer pokemon. Although, if you are not familiar with how the Pokemon concepts work, this game might be a little confusing to you. Most cards and instructions are self explanitory... but sometimes the kids have to tell me what the card means. Everything in this game is personalized to the Pokemon theme, even the money and dice is different. I bought this product because I always had a love for monoply, and when I saw the Pokemon edition, it blew me away! I love the uniqueness of the setup and design, and I noticed the plastic pieces that come with the game for holding money and cards are odd shaped... the one that appears to be the money holder in fact does not fit all the money. Maybe its supposed to be for the cards. Also, the game play seems to be longer in time length because you have to focus on what each card says about the Pokemon or Pokeball you are purchasing.
