I tried Morningstar Farms Veggie Crubbles while I was expiramenting with vegetarian tacos. Of the fake ground beef concoctions that I tried, this was my favorite. While it did not taste exactly like ground beef, it did have a nice flavor to me and the crumbles act very much like browned ground beef in recipes. (I've had trouble with other brands being too mushy.) I could use the packaged taco seasoning that I was used to and everything came out fine.

The drawback is the price. It was about $4 for 12 ounces, almost as much as real ground beef!  I would only buy this again if I had a special craving for ground beef. 

Incidently, I've found out that black beans with salsa are a great replacement for ground beef and taco seasoning mix.
