Pros: Nice look and feel

Phone reliability is suspect
Range was no better than 900 mhz
The Bottom Line: When looking for 2.4 ghz phone, avoid this option at all costs. Look at another brand.

| quahogboy's Full Review: Motorola MA351 2.4 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone |
When we went from a 900mhz VTech to this phone my wife and I figured that Motorola must make a solid phone since they made pretty good cell phones. Was I ever wrong. In less than a year since we bought this thing we have replaced the NiCad battery twice (that's three batteries in almost a year). They do not hold a charge. It got to the point that I would only have about a 1/2 hour of talk time after it had been sitting in the cradle all night. Straight out of the box the phone was not much better on range or static than the 900mhz Vtech EVER was which made me pretty disappointed because it cost us so much more. It is a cool looking phone but I just want a phone that works the way it is supposed to. Now the phone has this strange annoying problem where there is an echo when I am talking on the phone. It sounds like it is getting ready to die on me which is unfortunate. Now I have to go back online to determine what brand I should buy and will have to shell out another $80-100 to get a "nice" phone. If you are looking for a phone with great range, nice features and long talk time, then keep looking. I hear Panasonic makes a good phone and I think that is what I am going to try next.
