Pros: Attractive design, rubber "grips" fit in the hand well, sturdy housing on the handset.
Cons: Sound quality has more static than my 900 mHz.
The Bottom Line: I have purchased Motorola cell phones for the past 15 years, but for cordless phones, I believe I will wait for an upgrade and better sound clarity.

Maybe this phone would work better for someone else who lives in an apartment or something similar. This phone didn't have a very good signal in my home as I received static everywhere I turned. I expected a lot more from this phone from the previous experiences with manufacturer.
Even though the phone seemed to pick up signals well, the static received was annoying; I was reminded of phones of the distant past that received "waves" of static as if there was a barrier in between the handset and the base. All the features of the phone were as expected and no surprises occurred. The caller ID and call waiting ID are a great asset to any phone and should be required on all phones made today as a standard. I believe this is the first bid for Motorola in the cordless phone category and I do hope there will be an upgrade or new line in the near future with a fix for the static. Static is not a good feature for a 2.4 mHz phone.
I returned this product the very next day I tried it out, thankfully with no hassel.

This update is for "Teri".
You are right, Teri! I missed the "no" radio when I finished with comments. I do not recommend this particular telephone for its current price. For a back-up phone and at a greatly reduced price, I may consider it.
