The Motorola Talkabout 200 is one of the best 2-way radios around. It is palm-sized but it acts like the high quality radio's that cost more than $500!!! The 2 mile range actually does work for 2 miles all around. I live near New York City, and when i used it there, I was able to communicate with my wife who was 30 city blocks away!!!! That's amazing!!! And the clarity.... as we say in New York "fuh-ged-abat-it"!! The clarity was actually better that my cell phone. The only thing that i would have liked to have would have been a scan button, but that's not really necesarry. The overall "epinion" I have on the Motorola Talkabout 200 is that if you don't buy it, you have no idea about what you're missing!!!!
