Pros: the increase in signal strength very evident.
Cons: however there is a faint white line running moving from the bottom of the screen.

with seven cable jacks scattered throughout the house it was quite frustrating to get clear signal in only two.
after surfing the net i saw the mostly positive reviews on the Motorola signal booster and i decided to give it a try.
first we traced all the cable lines running through the house. we tested each to establish a signal benchmark. as mentioned 5 of the cable jacks registered poor signals all fuzzy and snowy with the audio barely intelligible. then we checked the interconnections and true enough the contractor did a really SHODDY job by just splicing ( yeah cheap b****** didn't even use SPLITTERS) the cables. we removed the splicing. then we tested each cable jack by connecting each in turn to the main cable. signal improved by about 30 % but was still far from being decently viewable . Then we installed splitter for each of the cable jacks.signal went up by another 10 % Then we installed the Motorola signal booster at the junction box where the cable fed into the house. the signal strength JUMPED and we were receiving clear signals throughout the house.
