I purchased this product to help me as a law enforcement officer make contact with people reporting crimes and to obtain more thorough details about crimes in progress. My opinion of this product is satisfactory with a few points.
I am truly pleased at the size of the phone and the ease of flipping it open with only one hand. I also like how I can conceal it in my pocket, on it's holder attached to my belt or on the visor and its light weight prevents it from slipping off through traffic.
I do not like the fact that the buttons are so small and with large hands makes it somewhat difficult in certain situations to dial a number. This phone however, was made to be small and accomplished this task at the inevitable sacrifice of oversized push buttons. I also would like for the illumination feature to last throughout the entire sequence of dialing a number without cutting out after only a few seconds.
Overall, this is a very outstanding phone and has lasted well over a year and only my second battery. The replacement batteries are fairly reasonable if you shop around. (Don't pay over $30 for a battery since so many places market this phone, the ease of finding reasonably priced replacement batteries is feasible.)
