Pros: Rugged, included carrying case (woohoo), Motorola quality
Cons: Scratches way too easy, Motorola price, dumb feature setups
The Bottom Line: If you have the money, and want a quality phone, I would definately recommend this phone.

| ebaycadillac's Full Review: Motorola Timeport P8167 Cell Phone |
I know quite a bit about this phone since I've owned this phone for approx. two years (see my review on Sprint PCS Service)... and I have very little bad to say about it.
Before this phone, I had a Samsung 3500 - not a bad little phone but this was a nice change. I like to be different; too many people had the 3500. So, I went to the "businessman's" phone... and I haven't looked back.
First off, I must applaud Motorola. I have never bought a "bad" product from them.
Secondly, it is extremely rare for a cell phone manufacturer to include a holder for their phone free of charge, without any special gimmicks or anything. But that is exactly what Motorola did. And the swivel-holster is very nice for clipping onto your belt.
The phone is rugged. I've dropped it at least 20 times onto pavement through my own fault, and no damage has come due to it. The worse thing that happened to it was the scratching of the silver coat (not good, but not a big deal).
The phone is physically designed well. The even though cell phone radiation is not that big of a deal anymore, Motorola still decided to design the phone to point the antenna away from the user's head. This is comforting since I do not like the idea of my brain being cooked, even slowly, by radiation. How would I write epinions if it were? : p
The phone is slightly overpriced. Yet, as I have already mentioned, I've seen more business people using this phone than anyone else. Everyone my age (teenager) seems to be sporting the "trendy" Nokias (of which I am not a fan).
The menus are somewhat difficult to navigate. I was spoiled by Samsung's clear-cut, sensible feature setups. But, with a little practice, you too can get the hang of it.
And, finally, I've seen a lot of people complain about the signal strength. I have no complaints. It is the same or better than my old Samsung 3500...
