| cjteran's Full Review: Motorola Timeport P8767 Cell Phone |
I purchased the Sprint PCS Timeport 8767 in June 2002, and have loved it ever since. This phone doesn't have the gimmicks, games, or fancy ringers that other phones do, but it is a top quality piece of business equipment. The quality is focused on the clarity, reception, and functionality. This is the best cell phone I have ever owned or used.
I use this phone with the optional SyncPlus software, and synchronize the address book and control the phone options from my computer. Using this software with the data cable makes adding, editing, or replacing the address book effortless. I have used the phone as a modem, as well as browsed the wireless internet without any problems. This phone has a basic design to it, but the more I use it, the more I find out about it, and the more I like it.
My only gripe with the phone is the troublesome antenna, not improved since the StarTac. However, you can purchase a variety of aftermarket antennas to replace it, such as a metal or rubber stubby antenna.
Additionally, replacement batteries, antennas, and optional accessories are easy to find and are often discounted in price.
