| voicestreamkid's Full Review: Motorola V2282 Cell Phone |
I have many voicestream phones, and becuase of the smart card technology, I now switch my phones day by day depending on my mood. I own a Nokia 3390, Ericsson T28W, Nokia 5190, and the Motorola v2282.
I have to say that the Motorola v2282 is a great excercise partner. I see joggers holding their cellphone while listening to thier shoulder walkmans. With this phone, all you need to do is hold your phone, and turn on the radio. No need to carry extra stuff, your cellphone doubles as a walkman. The phone has a very solid build to it. I have accidentaly thrown it from my hands while jogging, and it has not broken yet (Yeah, I scratched the face, but thats it).
The ringer is loud, too loud for my taste. At its highest level, it sounds like twice the volume of the loudest nokia ring.
The sound quality is great, crisp and clear, not problems, and I have not had a dropped call. I have noticed that sometimes when I am in a basement, my nokia goes to no signal and I cant make any calls, but with the motorola, it has one bar, and I can make a call.
The only qualm I have is the clock! Where is it?
Other than that, it is a great phone.
(Voicestream coverage in the Central Florida area is great, and I highly reccomend it)
