Pros: QWERT keyboard, fits like a pager, many options and voice control commnads
Cons: ear-bud only, long menu's to cycle through
The Bottom Line: Good deal for someone sending a lot of text messages and doesn't mind only using an ear-bud as the only talking option.

| adaler1's Full Review: Motorola V.Series Personal Communicator Model 100 ... |
For someone that does a lot of Instant Messaging and needs to have email accessibility while out of the office and doesn't want to pay for a Blackberry, the V100 is good.
As a former Nokia 6910 user the Motorolla menu's took some getting used to, especially without the number shortcut keys. The QWERT keyboard makes typing and sending emails much easier than cycling through letters on a number pad. Another great feature is the voice dialing, program numbers into the phone's memory and at a touch of a button say the name and it dials. Problems that I've encountered with the phone is the ear bud. I've now been through 3 ear pieces and am starting to wonder if it's actually a problem with the jack in the phone. Wouldn't be surprising since the phone fits on your belt much like a pager and then the ear piece usually hang down and into my pocket, but that hanging wire has a tendency to snag on things, and trying to yank at the wire in time to catch an important call doesn't help either. The Verizon Wireless model of this phone comes in a more professional grey or black color and also has a built-in speaker phone. However, being under a contract with VoiceStream and not wanting to break the contract I stuck with the V100.
Other features include wireless internet access, vibrating silent ring, voice commands, additional built-in phone memory, alarm clock, and other standards.
