Pros: Attractive Cosmetic Look
Cons: Few Features, Lack of Compatibility, Many more
The Bottom Line: This phone will appeal to kids and teenagers because of its looks. You'd be much better with a phone with features and reliability.

| S1N3ddW17's Full Review: Motorola V2397 Cell Phone |
I first saw this phone on the AT&T website and it seemed like a good phone. I purchased service at my local mall and chose this phone over others because, frankly, I liked how it looked.
The first time I used this phone I already began to dislike it. Calls would sometimes never even go through, and when it gave me an option to redial, that didn't work and for some reason the phone rang extremely loud right in my ear. In the case of an emergency, having this happen would be horrible.
When the battery is low, the phone emits a terribly annoying chirp every 15 or so seconds. I find this completely unnecessary and I have not seen it on any other phone.
Honestly, the reception isn't too bad. Its not wonderful, but better than some other phones I've used.
Business users might want to use their cell phone in conjunction with a laptop computer to go online when away from the office. Well, that is not possible with this phone. It offers no expansion jack, so it is not compatible with other Motorola accessories, such as hands-free kits.
The buttons on the phone require quite a bit of pressure to register, and my phone is only about 8 months old.
The arrangement of options and menus is horrible, and there are many features listed that do not do what they are supposed to.
