Pros: Durable, lightweight, great sound quality, easy to use.
Cons: Sometimes only rings 1-2 times (not adjustable); phone wraps obscure screen
The Bottom Line: Basic, not big on bells & whistles. But for sheer reliability + coverage + free voicemail, this model and AT&T can't be beat.

I've had this phone for about a year now, and am very satisfied. It's been very reliable. Has survived being dropped 3 ft onto carpet several times with no problem.
It WAS flaky for a short time due to overcharging on the Motorola car charger, but that problem went away on its own after a couple of weeks. The home charger is MUCH better, never a problem there.
Other minor problems... I REALLY wish I could set the phone to ring about 5 times -- but it only rings 3 times (or sometimes only once or twice). This doesn't give me enough time to answer! And the phone is becoming a bit outdated -- wish it could dial by voice command...
Excellent sound quality unless you're in a very noisy room. The phone wraps obscure the tiny screen slightly, so I opted not to use them.
I'm using the AT&T Free to Go (prepaid) plan, which includes free voicemail. In my opinion, AT&T customer service has gotten *much* better over the past six months. I'm using the phone mainly in Colorado and Montana, with good results. Have been able to get a signal almost everywhere.
I did have a small problem recently where I could not call my own cell phone number in order to reach my voicemail. I'm currently roaming, and I kept getting an error message. But AT&T had a fix!
Told me to punch in *35 which is the Do Not Disturb code and which sends ALL my incoming calls directly to voicemail. This allowed me to call my own number without looping back thru my own phone. When finished, I punch in *350 to cancel the Do Not Disturb feature so I can receive calls on my cell phone again. Neat little trick!
