| pde99's Full Review: Motorola V2397 Cell Phone |
I've owned the Motorola v2397 for about 6 months now, and I must say I am very happy. The one small downfall I found with this phone was that it was difficult to program at first, and the menus were a little hard to find and confusing. But, once you take the time to learn the phone and spend a couple hours with the instruction manual it becomes very easy to program and use. Overall I like this phone much better than the Nokia and Ericcson models I previously owned. The one area that the Nokia 5165 beat this phone in was ease of use. The menus and settings were very easy to run through and learn without a manual on the Nokia in my opinion. The Motorola is very stylish and unique, and most people seem very impressed when they first see it. I get comments all the time from people, asking "where did you get that phone", and "I've never seen a phone like that, it's very nice", etc. The signal is always very good with this phone, but I think that the signal mainly depends on your carrier. I have AT&T wireless and I am in Washington state, so the combination of the service and this phone have been nothing but good for me. Overall I would highly recommend this phone, it is more than worth the price and nothing but reliable for me in the time I have owned it.
