Pros: Great artist!
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Love the CD. Truly a gifted artist. The best "Blue-eye soul" singer hands down. An Honorary degree should be given for his contribution to music and Motown.

| awcwsw's Full Review: Motown - Michael McDonald Movies |
I have been a huge fan since I heard "Minute By Minute" as my father played the album on his turntable and before I really knew what music was. Now, that I am older and understand the music - Michael is definitely the music and the music is in him. The quality and richness of his voice transcends through all genres of music especially in the R&B genre as though his destiny was for this type of music. His gift (voice) has brought happiness to many people lives as well as probably a lot of babies. This Motown CD is just another example of a true talent he is. The songs are arranged beautifully and few them I had forgotten about but was pleasantly surprise as always with the raw emotions flowing freely and softly taking you back in time. An example of this feeling is the song "All In Love is Fair." It is so sensual. It leaves you feeling naked and stripped of any inhibition about loving someone. Not only did Stevie Wonder write a fabulous love song but Michael took it to another level. With these two talents how can a song fail. Distance Lover and Ain't No Mountain High Enough are extraordinary in there arrangements. What more can I say. If I every get the chance to met Michael in person, I hope the two of us could pray together and thank God - one for blessing Michael for the beautiful instrument he has bestowed upon him and for allowing him to share his passion and love music with the world. Lastly, for allowing me to be in the presences of such wonderful person who is very humble and sharing his space with me.
I say "two thumbs up" and buy it. You will not be disappointed.
