Little Orange Box, Lots of Relief!

I purchased Motrin IB for pain at the recommendation of my physician. I can't take Tylenol or things that contain acetaminophen. It interacts with my other medications. I can only take Ibuprofen, which works just fine for me.
I looked for that little orange box and found relief! Just a caplet or two and the pain is gone in an instant. When the pain is really severe, I have to compromise and take 3 caps for pain relief.
So, other than physician recommendations, why did I decide to purchase and try Motrin IB? It is a well known and respected line of medications for starters. The price is very efficient in comparison to the relief it provides. It doesn't contain all of the non-essential additives that you'll find in other medications. It doesn't upset my stomach. It doesn't upset my wallet either!
Each caplet of Motrin IB contains 200mg of Ibuprofen. That's pain relief for you! In general, you are advised to take 1 cap every 4 to 6 hours for pain. If you find that pain persists, you can adjust it to 2 caps. Under advisement from my physician, I was able to adjust to 3 caps for severe pain. (except for migraines, for I use Motrin Migraine then!)
As for indications of allergic reaction to this or any Ibuprofen drug, the label clearly reads: Seek medical help if any of the following occur: hives, facial swelling, asthma (wheezing), or shock. These indications are rare, but can occur in some patients sensitive to the product. These warnings are very important to consumers.
Do not use this product if you have had a reaction to any other pain reliever or fever reducer. At that time, it is recommended that you seek the immediate advice of your physician and not attempt taking the medication on your own accord.
Finally, this product should not be given to children under the age of 12. Motrin manufactures a children's line of pain medication and fever reducers for the younger generation.
Next time you are on the market for a medication that will be gentle with you, but tough on that pain of yours, look for that little orange box. Motrin has a product that is just right for you. You've got nothing to lose but the pain!
