Recently, after having my second child, I've been noticing my head aches becoming stronger and more unbearable. I had some problems with my epidural (sp?), they missed the spot and tapped my spinal fluid instead. The fluid then comes out the needle and all you feel is this warm fluid oozing down your back. Anyway, to make this short, this "tap" gives you the worst head aches you've ever had! I can't even explain how bad this is!! So, since I've never had extremely bad head aches till then, I'm assuming I've now moved in to the migraine category.
While looking for a pain reliever, I came across a web* freebie to try Motrin Migraine Pain. The site stated they'd send you a coupon and a migraine management kit. Well, since I'd not tried any other medicine for this condition, I thought, I'll give it a try. I signed up and about 3 weeks later, I got my kit in the mail. Upon opening the envelope, I was a little disappointed that they'd only enclosed a $1 off coupon. (phooey)
The kit included:
the coupon
a "dear sufferer" letter
ways to control pamphlet
self-assessment tool (another pamphlet)
and a personal migraine manager
this lets you keep track of your episodes.
The letter goes on to explain the how-to's and informs you that it's the first ibuprofen-based treatment for migraines that's been approved by the FDA.
I purchased Motrin Migraine Pain caplets and tried them out. They took the edge off right away, I didn't have to wait long to figure that part out. I noticed it didn't last too long though. I must have had a worse head ache than I thought. I took another one 4 hours later and again, it takes the edge off**. I would have to say, I would buy this product again, however, I will try other's as well.
Motrin Migraine Pain comes in increments of 24, 50, or 100 and are 200mg each caplet. Price will obviously vary by bottle size. I paid $5.99 minus my $1 coupon for a 24 count bottle. This is their logo..."For People Who Don't Fool Around With Pain."
