| icedearth's Full Review: Ebags Mountainsmith I.T.Z. In the Zone |
My 14 year old son loves this pack. There are no lockers at his school so he carries a load each day. He has been wearing it to school for 2 years now and no back pain. The shoulder straps adjust easily and are well padded as is the back. The back also breaths well.
The fact that he is still using this pack after 2 years speaks for itself. There are no tears or rips in the fabric and the zippers work perfectly.
Load it up and go!!! books, cd player, water bottles, or whatever. 2500 cubic inches with compression straps that allow the pack to expand as needed or pull it in when the load is smaller.
I tried Jansport, Eastman,..etc and was tired of buying 2 or 3 so called lifetime packs a year for my son. I was not going to pay $125.00 for a school pack!! Read a review of Mountainsmith packs in a climbing magazine and decided to give them a try. Smartest purchase I could have made.
Mountainsmith has a well deserved reputation as one of the best. I paid $54.00 at thesnowleopard.com
