Pros: Good for older children and adults to play together.
Cons: Pieces poorly constructed and don't fit together well. Difficult to assemble.
I had a Mousetrap game when I was about seven years old. It was a great deal of fun for me to assemble and play. In those days, the games were better constructed and actually could be put together easily. Many of the pieces were metal and didn't break apart. Since I was feeling nostalgic, I got one of these games for my daughters. I had hoped they would get as much fun out of theirs as I did from mine. Then when we decided to put together and play Mousetrap, I was seriously disappointed. It was not the game I remembered. The pieces looked much the same but they were poorly constructed and didn't fit together well. Since the pieces didn't fit together, it was next to impossible to play the game as instructed and it collapsed easily. My girls soon lost interested in playing a game that didn't work properly and I was really disappointed. It's not the game I remember.
