deflep's Full Review: Move Along by The All-American Rejects
Move Along by the All-American Rejects is the band's second studio album. It features Move Along, Dirty Lil Secret, Top of the World, and It Ends Tonight. It spawned four hit singles and all four went to the top twenty.
Band Line Up Tyson Ritter- lead vocals Nick Wheeler: Guitars Mike Kennerty: Guitars Chris Gaylor: Drums
Move Along: Move Along is about being strong and going through hard times. It has a very pop appeal to it, but you can hear that it is really rock. The song has a new-age feel to it and you can't help but sing along to the chorus. The music video shows Tyson wearing different outfits in different scenarios.
Dirty Little Secret: Dirty Little Secret is AAR's most known song, I would think. It had a lot of airplay when it came out. The video shows people holding up their secrets and the band playing.
Top of the World: Top of the World features an acoustic introduction before it gets heavier. The chorus is extremely catchy, but it never got a lot of airplay because it was released around the time It Ends Tonight was released.
It Ends Tonight This song is one of the AAR's only ballads. It is piano/orchestra driven, but it does include the whole band eventually. The band reveals that it wasn't about a girl, but "a dude".
