Mr. Clean Windshield Wash works like magic on bugs and grime, well sort of.

Pros: So simple and easy to use it doesn't have instructions.
Cons: May cause damage to your vehicles windshield-washer reservoir if it's below freezing outside.
The Bottom Line: A premium grade product with a name I trust. Ready-to-use, easy to pour into vehicles washer-fluid-reservoir without a funnel. Very durable, recyclable or reusable bottle.

| walkerpkw's Full Review: Mr. Clean Premium Windshield Wash |
Mr. Clean Windshield Wash De-bugging +32°F formula. Recently while browsing the isles of my local auto parts store this shelf full of green windshield fluid with the "Mr. Clean" man caught my eye. Although appearing similar to (with its slightish neon green color) it wasn't engine coolant but instead, washer fluid. If it's a cleaning product with that famous Mr. Clean mascot it's got to be good? Even with its $2.99 price (about a dollar twenty) more than the neighboring blue solution next to it, I grabbed 2 bottles of the premium stuff. A couple things I noticed on the large label besides the toxic ingredients list was "Mix with any Windshield Wash" & "Works Like Magic on Bugs and Grime!" OK, I'm sold. This is kind of important but all the bottles available were the "+32°F" That's fine for where I live but, 80 miles north east of me is Lake Tahoe and Reno Nevada. They still get below freezing temps at night in April and May so one of the other formulas is recommended. The other 2 other available in the United States are: +20°F and for you folks way up north there's -30°F. Not a tough choice for me to make, I've got either bugs or ice. There's another "dual-action" or "year-round" -45°C formula available in Canada only. It de-ices and de-bugs, whoa! Is there a place that's got both bugs and ice at the same time? So far I'm satisfied with this product and I feel it's performing noticeably better than the generic blue washer fluid. After topping off and having a few work trucks with 100% of the Mr. Clean mixture I can now give you an honest evaluation. Last week we hit our first 90° spring heat-wave and the bug population exploded. With the combination of a good high quality set of wiper blades and the Mr. Clean solution, it did its duty as advertised. Very noticeable but not in any way annoying is the scent of Mr. Clean that comes through the vents from the base of the windshield. I've also tried Mr. Clean in a trigger spray squirt bottle, sampling it on a few windows around the office. Works like and even smells like scented glass cleaner but not nearly as effective. I don't recommend breathing Mr. Clean or any glass cleaner as both products contain toxic chemicals. If you get a chance look up (2-Butoxyethanol), it's the second ingredient listed in Mr. Clean washer fluid. The bottle:
Just your everyday (high quality) one gallon see-through plastic jug, with a very good sealing cap. I can't call it child-proof because I strongly believe a smart 3 year old can open it. There's a pesky protective foil seal which will require a sharp pointed instrument to puncture, then peel away.
Final recommendation:
Another Mr. Clean product I give high marks. Finally after 50 years the man with the shiny head makes his way into the automotive market and into my vehicles windshield washer reservoir. If this product is available in your area I suggest trying it. If there were any cons about Mr. Clean Windshield Wiper Fluid I'll be sure and let you know with an update. The only downside to this particular formular is you will need to remove it and replace it before freezing temperatures cause damage to the fluid reservoir and supply lines.
