| jlusk5's Full Review: Mr. Potato Head |
After reading a few epinions, I've come to the conclusion that every Mother/Father/Child has had this toy. I had one growing up and now my girls have one too. Mr. Potato Head is a legend that will never die. I'm sure toy makers thought that he was slowly fading away until the day Toy Story came out and brought him back to life. Thanks to Toy Story II we all can love Mrs. Potato Head too.
I really like Mr. Potato head because it is not a boy or a girl toy, both can play with it and love it. It's so much fun to change his face around, and how many times have we seen an eye where the nose goes and lips on the side of his head? That's what makes him so much fun, kids can play, be silly, laugh and just all around have a great time playing with him.
Mr. Potato Head is recommended for children 2 years and older because the small parts. Most toys seem to either be for 3 years and older or for under 3 years. I find it really hard to find that toy for a 2 - 2 1/2 year old who is still young for really small parts, but to old for the baby toys, so this one being recommended for 2 years and older is a real plus in my book.
Mr. Potato Head comes with eyes, glasses, a hat, arms, shoes, a mouth, ears, hat and of course his own storage bin located on his back, just open and load him up. I remember a time when Mr. Potato head came with a pipe, but no longer does he have this.
If your child does not already have a Mr. Potato Head, then I highly recommend it, you won't be sorry. Mr. Potato Head is reasonably priced usually around $5.00, so you won't go broke buying this one. Let's face it, we all as parents spend way to much money on toys they never play with, why not spend just a little money on one they will :o)
