Pros: Cute illustrations, nice story
Cons: Not a classic story, not the most memorable characters.
I bought this book at a huge discount, but I don't think I would have paid full price for it. It is a cute and fairly novel story about a rabbit who is a total clutz. He messes up everything, no matter how hard he tries. Even to the end. But the moral is that you still gotta love him.
I read this story to my 2-3 year old and although it's a cute story, it wasn't the one he chose first every night. If your child is into rabbits or airplanes, this might be a book they might like.
It's a cute story, and the pictures are really cute, with good bright colors that are great for little kids. But there are books out there that have better stories, better illustrations, more endearing characters or other features that make them better choices for kids.
There aren't a lot of words on the pages so this reads really quickly. There also aren't a lot of peripheral illustrations, which is good because it does not distract little kids, but it doesn't leave a lot of room for discussions with older kids (2.5 and older) about other things happening in the story, word identification, etc.
