I can't say enough about EAS and all of their products. Their low carb powder makes an incredible shake!
Basically, the product is used as a meal substitute. We are supposed to eat 6 mini meals a day, but who wants to cook 24/7??? You can use the products by EAS to substitute for some of the meals. You get all of the protein and vitamins and essential things you need in one shake. The low carb powder is especially helpful for those of us who need to keep their carbohydrates down or want to lose weight.
EAS low carb powder comes in three delicious flavors. Chocolate cream (which is really chocolatey!), vanilla cream (you can almost taste the beans!) and strawberry cream (my favorite!) All three flavors will make you think you are drinking a milk shake!
The powder can be mixed with 16 oz of skim milk or water and I've found that it blends nicely with both. I usually add in some ice cubes to make it thick and that's it!
Now for the bottom line...The total fat ranges between 5-6 grams depending on which of the three flavors you choose. Saturated fat is always 2.5 grams. Total carbohydrates around 9 grams with sugar around 2-3 grams. This is important for people watching their sugar. Protein is always 50 grams. This is really important since most people do not get enough protein into their bodies. We should have one grams for every pound of weight. These shakes help supply your body with the necessary protein!
The price for this product can be high depending on where you buy it. I recommend purchasing your products through the EAS website or another internet site. You will pay at least 20% less or more. :)
