This game is unbelievable in multiple aspects which I shall address. They are as follows:

Gameplay / Play by Play:
This game offers the total package for Division 1 football with 144 teams (from 1A and 1AA) and 50 mascot teams. There are more teams than one can possibly play with, just to make sure that this game never loses interest. The play by play is given by announcers. If you are lucky enough to make it to a nationally televised game, you have professional announcers that seem to know what they are talking about. Also, what good is a football game without its fair share of heckling?
Graphics:
The graphics are incredible and absolutely lifelike. The touchdown celebrations or even big play celebrations are amazing and I can just picture those happening in the real game. Using special moves such as spin moves to break tackles or performing acrobatic moves in the air are graphically rendered as well as I have ever seen and that only adds to the game. Also, the stadiums look just like they do on ESPN Sportcenter. That's how real this game looks.
Controls:
As expected with any xbox game, you are simply not going to pick up the controller and begin to pummel teams. It will take a good deal of time to familiarize yourself with the buttons and the multiple actions that each button can perform. Once this is done, there is nothing that will limit your gameplay any longer.
Miscellaneous:
To address those incredible video gamers who always seem to get bored with a game because they are just too good, I believe they have met their match. The AI in NCAA 2K3 can be changed through various difficulties with the most difficult being practically impossible. Those who truly think themselves good will have to prove themselves. Also, the normal options are included such as roster changes and individual honors (including Heisman), creations of personal schools that you can play with, and practice scrimmage . One new thing that appears is the option of playing with mascots. In this, you can battle another player with your team's respected mascots. It is quite hilarious and adds a comic aspect to this game.
Flaws:
Please first notice how small this section is. It is a representation of how great the game is. The only thing I would complain about is slow motion because here we see a slight breakdown in some graphics. If this is the only thing I can complain about, I highly recommend the game.
