Pros: It worked perfectly, and it honestly didn't hurt! I really like this stuff.
Cons: The price. Plus NADS is super-sticky-icky, but cleans up easily with warm water.
I bought a jar of NADS about a year ago at a local drugstore, but kept putting off using it, to the extent that the plastic box holding it got dusty. I mean, REALLY dusty.
Anyway, this morning I finally got up the nerve to try it for the first time (on my legs), and I was VERY pleasantly amazed.... I wouldn't have believed it possible, but it really didn't hurt at all! And it removed all the hair beautifully, a little at a time...
That's why I am mystified as I read that so many of you had such a horrible experience with this product, with so much pain and so many problems.
What happened? It isn't about pain threshold, because I was a TOTAL wuss with "Epilady" (which was supposed to be practically painless), and I wound up happily giving the wretched thing away to a more stoic friend. And I've used regular depilatory wax and found it painful, messy, and generally unpleasant, and it always left the waxed area pink for days.
So I expected this green goo (NADS)would be about the same, but for some reason it worked exactly the way the infomercial said it would! Zipping off the linen strip was even easier than pulling off a band-aid.
Maybe it helped that just prior to using it, I had just showered and scrubbed my legs with a scrubby-thingy, and dried them carefully as per directions. And in my case the hairs were pretty long, which probably adds to the successful removal rate. Anyway, it was a totally positive experience for me, and tonight I'm going to do my pits.
