misanthrope666's Full Review: Nads No Heat Hair Removal Gel
For the INEXPERIENCED WAXER: I can see how many people inexperienced in removing hair via the waxing method would find this product difficult to use and painful. Any waxing method is difficult and painful if you don't know what you are doing. The entire premise behind waxing is to rip hair out of the body so if this makes you squeamish, Nads and realistically, ANY waxing method, is not for you. For those wishing to learn how to wax themselves at home because they don't want to pay salon prices, then this is a GREAT product to start with. This product is truly water soluble so the horror stories most first-time waxers have (like getting unremovable wax entangled with hair in delicate places) are avoided. The waxing method, especially when doing it on yourself is difficult to learn so if you expect this to be a miracle product that makes your hair magically vanish, then you will be disappointed. Nads' instructions truly do include all information neccessary to use this product properly. Those reviewers who think this product is dangerous did not read or follow the instructions, such as the one that states NOT to go over the same area twice.
For the EXPERIENCED AT-HOME WAXER: This is a great product. Nads is far less messy than any other product I've used. It is portable so you can take it on vacation. It's water soluble so you can reuse all your waxing strips. And best of all, if you place the wax incorrectly, all you have to do is wash it off.
My ONLY COMPLAINT: The consistency. Sometimes I have to leave it out in the sun because it can get too firm for comfortable and precise application. But this is more of an inconvenience and is much preferable to having to keep it a constant temperature for use like traditional waxing products.
PRICE: I will continue to use this product because I know what I'm doing and the price is great. In my area I can get a jar for around $15 from a drugstore.
