In partnership with Brita, Nalgene has developed a line of water bottles to express one's commitment cutting down on personal waste by using re-usable sources, such as Brita water filters and Nalgene water bottles. A while ago, I received two new water bottles in a houseparty.com party pack. One of the included bottles was the 16 oz. Nalgene Narrow Mouth Tritan water bottle, in the Filter-for-Good decor. The timing couldn't have been better as I need to drink as much water as possible and the Tritan Narrow Mouth makes that just a touch easier.

Although the Tritan Bottle is recommended for extreme adventure, I pretty much use it while I'm at work. (That is an extreme adventure though I'm sure it's not what Nalgene had in mind.) This BPA-Free water bottle holds 16 oz. of fluid and is green with a personal commitment statement as a going-green reminder. The bottle has printed graduations which are bright and easy to read for those wanting to know how much water they have consumed. This came in handy when I went for that first ultra-sound where you suck down lots of water before-hand.

The best feature of the Tritan Water bottle for me though is the narrow mouth. So many bottles have the wide mouth which is just difficult to drink from for me. The first time I tried this bottle I was hooked. Although the mouth is a little wider than a pop bottle, it's not so wide I can't get just the right seal on it, and not spill water on myself. The Tritan also features a loop top cap which screws on/off easily AND is attached to the bottle. I've carried this around by the loop as well as placed it in my bag and it definitely proves worthy of a highly durable label - and it's dishwasher safe as well making it easy to clean.

With a price tag of $10, the Nalgene Tritan Water Bottle is only $.50 more than its comparable Everyday bottle and it shows off one's personal commitment to reducing waste. I would highly recommend a water bottle with a narrow mouth top as it is so much easier to use.
