As a Secret Santa gift I received way back in December 2004, I received this Nars Blush, Orgasm and almost had my own the first time I opened and used it! Well, a girl can exaggerate just a bit at times, can't she? I was new to Nars products, although I'd heard great things about this line of cosmetics in a close knit Beauty group I belong to. So when making out my wish list late last fall, this blusher was one of the few items I put down as I'd always used cheap ones in the past and was ready to experiment: especially as a gift since I was less likely to spend money on a trial product on my own. For this peachy pink shade is one that works well with many skin tones, so chances were it would compliment mine nicely as well. There are many other shades to choose from, but from the name itself I knew I just had to have some of this Nars Blush, Orgasm as my very first Nars cosmetic. Featuring the trendy Makeup Your Mind slogan, this make-up line makes more than just blushers, but a shade like this one is the perfect place for newbies to the brand to start. Advertised as the perfect flush, this shade is a 2004 Best of Sephora winner, this peachy-pink blush, with hints of gold shimmer, is a makeup artist and beauty editor favorite. Made to emulate an, uh hum, afterglow, this universally flattering shade imparts a sexy pink flush. All the blushes by Nars exhibit translucent, natural shades, each with a subtle pink for natural blush undertone, created to highlight the complexion, and this one is no different. The blusher itself creates a hint of shimmer to the cheekbones with a very light application of color. The peachy pink shade compliments my skin tone whether I'm winter white or summer tan, and it blends excellently with the Laguna Bronzer that can also be purchased separately or in the Blush/Bronzer due found only at sephora.com currently. A tiny bit goes a long way and lasts all day, so investing in this Nars Blush, Orgasm is actually a smart move considering that the product will last far longer than the time it takes to find a new favorite, if that's possible. Pick up a small square 0.16oz (4.5g) black mirrored compact of this Nars Blush, Orgasm at the Nars counter of your favorite fine department store, or online at places like sephora.com for a whopping $25 each. Whoa! That's some serious cash to fork over for a blusher, but lemme tell ya, it's so worth it. Had I not received mine as a gift, I could easily part with the dough to buy some on my own. For I've had mine almost 6 months and there's only the slightest of dips noted on top. The compact itself is very durable and snaps open and closed firmly but easily. On the front is the large NARS logo in capital white lettering. Only you'll need your own blush brush as one does not come included. ~~~Product Experience~~~

It only took a few uses of this Nars Blush, Orgasm for me to totally fall in love with it and to trash all the old Cover Girl stuff I'd been using for as long as I could remember. With a medium sized blush brush, all it takes is a small amount swept across the apples of your cheeks and that afterglow color is right there! A very teeny hint of color placed on the nose, forehead, and chin will only accent your glowing look. Use it along with their Laguna Bronzer (which I recently purchased when I saw how popular the duo was) and your face will appear all sun kissed and tan without ever having to step outside. Just use both sparingly as too much of a good thing equals disastrous results. The color lasts all day and doesn't fade away like some blushers can do. It's completely unscented as well, so now I can forget that horrible Noxema scent forever that Cover Girl felt like they had to place in their products for some reason. So when you are feeling especially sexy and would dig some of that afterglow peachy pink color, then look no further than this Nars Blush, Orgasm as it certainly does the trick nicely.

~~~Overall Recommendation~~~

Introduce yourself to Nars big time by taking the plunge and trying out this Nars Blush, Orgasm as the shade compliments most skin types and you'll be so glad you invested the money. For at this rate, my blusher will far outlast its shelf life as there's barely a dip to be seen in my 6 months old compact. The shimmery peachy pink color is highly pigmented as it only takes a small amount to create the flushed look you want. Top off your look not only with the complimentary Laguna Bronzer, but pick up some of their Nars Lip Gloss in Orgasm as well (which also can only be found at sephora.com currently, too). So in conclusion, I highly recommend splurging a bit on this Nars Blush, Orgasm as it makes a great gift not only for others but especially for yourself.
