The Stomach Ache Remedy I Never Want To Be Without

Written: Mar 14 '07
Pros:Fast, effective relief of gas and many other problems that cause stomach discomfort
Cons:Cost
The Bottom Line: CharcoCaps Caplets have saved our family more than one trip to the emergency room for mild food poisoning cases. They also work wonders for treating gas and bloating.

There are many different types of stomach aches. When it comes to really tough, hard to deal with stomach aches, there are a few different types that top the list: stomach spasms caused by diarrhea, constipation, or vomiting; gas and bloating caused by over eating or eating certain “trigger” foods; the common stomach ache the comes along with the “blahs”, the flu, and other similar illnesses; and the worst stomach ache by far…the stomach ache that comes along with food poisoning. While every stomach ache is unpleasant, most of the small stomach aches are easily treated with common over the counter or all natural remedies. Food poisoning on the other hand, is an entirely different topic all together. If you’ve ever had food poisoning, then you know that the feeling that you get is unpleasant. In addition to all of the unbearable symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea your stomach feels like there is a group of surfers surfing on twelve foot waves inside of it, and the spasms continue until the food poisoning has run it’s course. Short of an emergency room visit and Compazine, I always thought that there was nothing else that could effectively treat food poisoning. I was wrong.

First of all, I would like to say that I am not a doctor. I don’t recommend that you ignore food poisoning and treat it yourself every time using CharcoCaps Caplets. However, if you’ve had food poisoning before, then you know what it feels like, and if you take 4 of the CharcoCaps Caplets immediately when the symptoms begin, wait two hours and take 4 more CharcoCaps Caplets you can reduce the discomfort caused by food poisoning, empty whatever harmful entered your system to begin with, and feel some much need relief from your stomach ache symptoms.

CharoCaps Caplets have helped me many times overcome some awful food poisoning…from a poorly prepared fast food milkshake to ice cream that had thawed and refrozen at the grocery store, I’ve had my runs in with some nasty cases of food poisoning. Note: the bottle of CharcoCaps Caplets does not mention anything about treating food poisoning with this product; in fact, it says that it is not meant to treat food or accidental poisoning. I have had wonderful success treating food poisoning with CharcoCaps Caplets. It is a must have for my medicine cabinet.

I’ve learned to “look out” for certain things, and I believe that everyone should know these warning signs to food poisoning, and throw out any products that might be suspicious.

Warning Sign #1 – If it tastes soapy, it could be contaminated with salmonella. This is one of the most common types of food poisoning that makes people sick, and it’s also the easiest to spot. If it tastes soapy, or has that “dish soap” taste to it, whether it’s a milk based product, a dry good like cereal, or potato chips, dump it in the trash immediately.

Warning Sign #2 – If a bread product smells of vinegar it could be contaminated. While I’m not sure the exact type of bacteria that causes bad bread to smell at vinegar, I know that once you smell bad bread, you will remember the smell for the rest of your life. If your bread smells funny or off, or stinks of vinegar, discard it.

Other Tips – To prevent food poisoning from occurring in your own home, make sure that you always check the date on dairy products before using them. Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after handling food products. Never cross contaminate surfaces in your kitchen or cooking utensils. Always cook food thoroughly. Make sure that your freezer and refrigerator settings allow for food to remain at safe temperatures. Always wash fresh fruits and vegetables thoroughly before using them. And finally, always rinse the lids of canned goods off before opening them. These simple tips can cut back on most cases of food poisoning that occur in your own home.

In addition to being the best over the counter treatment on the market for food poisoning, CharcoCaps Caplets are also great for a variety of other common stomach problems. The biggest one is gas. If you have gas, whether it’s from over eating, eating dairy products, or for some other reason, CharcoCaps Caplets can provide you with quick, effective relief of your gassy symptoms and the bloated feeling that gas can leave behind. To treat gas symptoms with CharcoCaps Caplets, take 2 following any meal, and repeat two hours later if you have not experienced full relief.

I have also had a great deal of success with using CharcoCaps Caplets to reverse the negative effects caused by food allergies. When I eat something that has a “hidden ingredient” that I am allergic to, the result can be very serious, with itching, trouble breathing, and other symptoms. Taking an antihistamine relieves the itching and makes the breathing easier, but it only works temporarily, because it doesn’t get what I ingested and was allergic to out of my system. CharcoCaps Caplets are great at absorbing these types of substances, and I have found that 2 caplets can all but relieve the allergic reaction I am having. Note: I do not suffer from severe allergies, the types that cause anaphylactic shock. I have had success treating minor food allergies with CharcoCaps Caplets. If you’ve never experienced food allergy symptoms before, you should consult a doctor before trying to treat yourself at home.

It is never a good idea to use CharcoCaps Caplets or any other activated charcoal product as a way of trying to eliminate the effect of an accidental poisoning, drug overdose, or similar problem. If you’ve ingested a dangerous substance, overdosed on a medication, or some other serious problem, it is best to seek immediate medical attention and to not attempt to treat the problem yourself.

The most important thing to know about taking CharcoCaps Caplets is that it is an activated charcoal product. What this means is that if you take any “important medications” that stay in your system for a long period of time (depression medications, heart medications, blood pressure medications, and controlled release medications), the CharcoCaps Caplets could decrease the effectiveness of your other medications. If you have never taken CharcoCaps Caplets or a similar activated charcoal product before and you are on medications on a regular basis, in particularly controlled release medications, be sure to talk to your doctor before using this product. It is also a good idea to take CharcoCaps Caplets by themselves, in other words, don’t take them at the same time that you take any other medications.

A bottle of CharcoCaps Caplets contains 100 Capsule like pills that are dark black in color. The first time I took CharcoCaps Caplets it took me a minute to get past the color. In the past, I’ve always used activated charcoal pills that were other colors (primarily pink) and the all black pill that actually resembled charcoal made them a little harder to swallow the first time I took them. You should always take CharcoCaps Caplets with a full glass of water. This product works best when taken with water, not milk, juice, or other beverages. In fact, I would recommend that you never take this product with milk, as the combination of activated charcoal and milk is not a pleasant one. Each CharcoCaps Caplet contains 260 milligrams of activated charcoal contained in a gelatin capsule shell. CharcoCaps Caplets do not contain corn, yeast, soy, gluten, milk, salt, sugar, starch, preservatives, or artificial colors, so if you are one of those people who has food allergies, dye allergies, or over the counter medication “filler” allergies, you should not have any adverse reactions from taking CharcoCaps Caplets.

CharcoCaps Caplets do not treat any illness; all they do is absorb the toxins in your body. The main toxins that CharcoCaps Caplets absorb are the toxins that cause gas. CharcoCaps Caplets are recommended for adults only, should not be given to children, and come in a standard push down and turn bottle. The cost of CharcoCaps Caplets may seem high, with an average cost of $15-$20 a bottle, but if they relieve even one severe stomach ache from you brought on by gas, food poisoning, or some other awful stomach invading problem, I think you will agree with me that they are well worth the cost.

CharcoCaps Caplets have come to the rescue many times in our home. They are an “always on hand” over the counter product that we always keep in the medicine cabinet because you never know when a situation might arise when CharcoCaps Caplets will come in handy. I would recommend them to anyone who suffers from painful stomach spasming, gas, and other stomach problems.
