About a year ago, after having blood work done I was told my Cholesterol count was a bit high. Naturally, I asked around among my friends and family as to what I could do since I certainly don't eat anything unusual that would cause my Cholesterol levels to be above normal. They all know me and know I prefer Homeopathic medication above regular medication. The general consensus was that Red Yeast Rice works to lower Cholesterol.

I decided to try it. I went to my local Walgreen's and purchased several bottles. It was buy one get one free so I had no issues with stocking up.
I got 120 capsules per bottle of 600 mg Red Yeast Rice and began taking two a day. The capsule is about 1/2" and contains a maroon colored powder. Months later after having been on this regime I had my blood work done. This time I happened to be donating blood an they give me a Cholesterol count in my results. I made sure to fast before the test to get an accurate reading. My Cholesterol had dropped to well within normal count. I was thrilled. The Nature's Bounty Red Yeast Rice worked for me.
