Pros:Healthy ingredients, lower cost, grain-free, all life-stages
Cons:Only sold at Costco, salt
The Bottom Line: High quality dry dog food... and while it's only available at Costco, it's re-packaged "Taste of the Wild" brand. HIGHLY recommended.
PLEASE NOTE: The Turkey & Sweet Potato recipe comes in a RED BAG with the same Husky dog on the front. The blue bag depicted in this review is the Salmon & Sweet Potato recipe.

Let me start off by saying this food is exactly the same as Taste of the Wild’s version but repackaged and sold through Costco. Taste of the Wild is one of the top dry dog foods and this is just repackaged (red bag with a Husky on the front) and sold for about $29 for 35 pounds which is a huge savings. Costco also sells the Salmon recipe (blue bag with the Husky on the front) for about $32 per 35 pounds. Considering the Taste of the Wild is quite a bit more money, this is a great deal for the quality.
Our dogs (two German Shepherds and one black Lab) like this food but prefer the smell of the salmon recipe even more. For this reason, we usually buy a bag of each and mix them in our "Vittles Vault" food container. We put a small pile of each on a mat and all four dogs went for the salmon first. This time around, we mixed a bag of each into the Vittles Vault. In our home, the dogs range (in age) from 11 months to 7 years, so we try to utilize a dry food that’s designed for all life stages to make things much easier. I like that the recipes are “grain-free” because dogs have a hard time processing corn and wheat which can also lead to digestive problems down the road.

The best type of food anyone can feed their dogs is either pre-packaged “raw food” diets or making your own version of the raw food diet. Dry foods lack the proper level of moisture so adding some warm water is always a good thing.
Another plus for this food is that it's designated for "all life stages" which means if you have a multi-dog household, no matter the age this food is appropriate.
Dry dog foods run the gamut of very healthy to ultra-garbage so please read labels and familiarize yourself with the good and bad ingredients - Please read my “How to choose dog food review."
Nature’s Domain is at the top of the dry food list where nutrition is concerned. The only poor ingredient in this recipe is salt – which is not good for over-weight or hypertensive dogs. Other than that, this recipe is top-notch.
