Pros:Gets rid of those stubborn urine odors if used properly
Cons:May have to use a lot of the product to get the whole stain
The Bottom Line: When used properly, Nature's Miracle really does get rid of those nasty odors.
I had tried Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover in the past with mixed results, but when I had problems with urine odors from elderly cat "accidents" or sometimes just pure old laziness, it was once again recommended highly by the pet store. I told them of my results in the past and they recommended that I use a black light to make sure I'm getting all of the stain. They said that without using the black light that you may not be getting the whole area of the stain, thus leaving odor. So I decided to give Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover another try.

How does it work?
It's basically an enzyme cleaner, the enzyme's attack the stain and odor and eliminate it by breaking the proteins down. This is what it claims to do and if used properly, it really does work, although it is not an instant remedy, it has to completely dry before all the odors are eliminated and it works on all natural stains/odors.
Does it really work?
It does work in eliminating the odor if you get the whole area that was affected by the "accident." This is where the black light that was recommended came in. I knew where the odor was coming from, but the reason it didn't completely get rid of the odor in the past was because I didn't get the whole area.
I got the little handheld black light out and turned off the lights and was surprised to see how large of an area the urine covered area was! I knew where Cuddles had had her "accident," but I didn't realize how far it spread out. I thought it was some small spot in the corner, the size of a small saucer, but it area it spread out to was rather large.
The directions tell you to first blot the area dry if it's a recent incident, which this wasn't, so I didn't have to do that. It then tells you to saturate the area of the stain, it is important to make sure the whole area is saturated all the way down, carpet and padding, then let it dry.
Depending on the size of the stain and the air in your house, it will take a while to dry. Because of the size of area, it took a little over two weeks for it to completely dry because it was in the bathroom which contains a lot of humidity. The odor wasn't eliminated right away and you will probably still notice the faint smell of urine while it is drying, this is normal. As it is drying, it is working on eliminating the odor and it can't completely eliminate it until it is completely dry.
Once it was completely dry, however, I didn't smell the urine anymore. As bad as it sounds, I actually got down on the floor to smell the carpet more closely and didn't notice any urine odor at all, in fact that area of the carpet smelled fresher than the rest of the carpet in the bathroom.
I noticed the cats frequently sniffing the area where I used it and I wasn't sure if they could actually still smell anything or if they were just smelling the Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover. It got me worried a little bit, fearing they could still smell urine and would eventually christen the carpet there again, so we rented a carpet cleaner and got some enzyme cleaning solution to use in it and cleaned the whole bathroom carpet. I am happy to say that we still can't smell any urine odors and the cats haven't had any "accidents" there either.
Small list of ingredients, but it really does work. It contains water, nature's enzymes, isopropyl alcohol, and natural citrus scent.
If you're having problems with pet stains and odors, I definitely recommend you give Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover a try, depending on the size of area, you may have to use a lot, but it really does work in eliminating odors. I also recommend you rent a black light from your local pet store so you can make sure you get the whole area the stain/odor covers.
