An item of clothing, (100% Cotton Docker's khaki slacks), had been slightly soiled with human feces, pretreated with Clorox Clean-Up, laundered AND dried before the fact that the pretreatment hadn't worked was discovered.
We had always believed that a stain that survives drying has become untreatable. In desperation, we just poured on some Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover offered by a friend for a different purpose, (blood stains). It appeared to be going to work on the stain immediately, forming the appearance of whiteness or foam around the edge of the stain. Rubbing the fabric together, the stain appeared to vanish before our eyes within about 20 seconds. Dumped it again in the washer before realizing we were out of detergent altogether.
Ran a warm/cold cycle with plain water just to see what would happen and the pants are good as new! Amazing!
