susiewho's Full Review: Natures Miracle Natures Miracle Stain and Odor Rem...
Six years go we adopted an un adoptable Chihuahua. He was scheduled for euthanasia due to a fear aggressive temperament. Along with his less than admirable temperament once we had him home for awhile we discovered he was also very nonchalant about his bathroom habits. He was somewhat housebroken. Definitely could not be relied upon to avoid making in the house. At first it was just on the bathroom carpets. Then it expanded, he'd lift his leg on furniture, poop by the front door and even if I was with him in the house he wouldn't bother to let me know he had to go. I could take him out, bring him back into the house and he'd go poop in the living room. This was a dog who didn't appreciate how lucky he was obviously. We have a dog door which he also chooses to ignore. So my foray into stain removers began.
We listen to Warren Eckstein on the radio. He's an animal expert. He touts Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover . We ran out and got the gallon size. We followed the directions on our bedroom carpeting. (Could not lift the carpeting though). To be honest the stains returned. The smell, well by now, I guess we don't notice an odor unless we get up close to the spot. The smell of the product is a wee bit odd, I guess it's the combo of citrus and alcohol sort of mixed with the urine residue. We also fight all this with room sprays and diffusers. Don't ask. I do feel we've won the smell issue. My sister is really scent sensitive and she says we pass her nose test.
Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover says it has special enzymes that break down the proteins in the pet mess. It's a clear liquid.Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover guarantees to remove pet stains and odors, even old urine odors trapped deep in carpets. It also claims to remove all organic stains and odors, including foods, blood, vomit, feces, grease, dirt, grass, smoke, and perspiration. It says it is for use on carpets, floors, furniture, clothing, cages, litter boxes, and all pet living and sleeping areas. It is safe to use around pets and children. It is not a perfume, it's not designed to "mask" offensive cat urine odors but my friend who owns four cats has used it with some success. She did have to throw out her couch eventually. It didn't have much of an affect on her smoke smell either. I used it on the couches my beloved pet peed on . It seemed to help those areas. I also steam cleaned them. I feel I'm at war with many weapons at my disposal.

They have product for Ferrets, Skunk Odor, Litter Treatment, Pet Wipes, Dander & Body deoderizer, & Pet Mess Easy Clean Up. You can also get a 16 oz concentrate that will make 1.375 gallons for $16.99 .
It costs $21.99 a gallon (at Petco). I've also tried Simple solution (cheaper )$10.99 gallon, Rug Doctor, Pet Stain Remover, Nature's Miracle training pads, Pet Botanics, Bitter End and Resolve. I can honestly say none of these have been enough to counter act our 5 lb Chihuahua's leavings. He's a master at finding new spots, he's incorrigable. School, constant attention, reprimands, a million opportunities to go out, a dog door, wee wee pads have had no affect on the situation. We are going to tile the remaining carpeted floors. We give up.
