coldsteel7's Full Review: Natures Miracle Natures Miracle Stain and Odor Rem...
Having pets means that you sometimes have to deal with accidents. Sometimes your pet gets sick and just can't help it. As a pet owner, you don't want your pets to think that it's okay to relieve themselves in the house. Plus, you probably don't want to smell it. To prevent stains and odors that may confuse your pet (or your guests), an application of Nature's Miracle may be just what the doctor ordered. (The Rug Doctor).
Nature's Miracle works using natural enzymes. The product claims that it will work on urine and feces (which are the only dog stains I have used this on), as well as food, drooling and bedding stains. Getting these odors out when they happen will save you a lot of headache later on. The product also claims that the ingredients in this cleaner are safe around children and pets. That's good to know, since both tend to spend the most time in direct contact with the carpet.
Nature's Miracle is simple to use. After wiping up any excess liquid from the stain area, you simply soak the area with Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover. The cap has a flip-up spout which dispenses the product in a thin stream. After thoroughly dousing the area simply wipe it up. If you are cleaning a stain, you should wait five minutes for the product to work before wiping up the excess liquid. Tough stains may require the use of a stiff brush. Nature's Miracle also claims that this product can be used on laundry, by soaking the stained areas prior to washing.
The Ingredients in Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover include: Water, Natural Enzymes, Isopropyl Alcohol and Natural Citrus Scent. The product is labeled as Non-toxic, non-flammable, non-acidic and color-safe. Sounds like plain old water to me. Actually, this product works exceptionally well, leaving a pleasant, albeit very light, citrus scent.
Nature's Miracle claims that this product is safe for use on carpets, floors, furniture, clothing, cages, litter boxes and pet sleeping areas. I have only used this product on carpet and furniture. The one concern I had, as with all cleaning products, was the likelihood that it would fade or discolor my furniture or carpet. Although the product says it won't, I'm still very leery about that. When I first used this product, I sampled it on inconspicuous areas to see if it would cause discoloration. I did not witness any change in color, and have used this product liberally on my furniture and carpet ever since.
Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover is marketed by Pets 'N People, Incorporated, which is a subsidiary company of Eight in One Pet Products out of Hauppauge, New York. A good product to use with the Stain and Odor remover (especially if your pet is a long hair breed), is the Nature's Miracle Dander Remover and Pet Deodorizer. If your pet is allowed on the furniture AND has long hair, I would highly recommend this product as well.
My overall impression of Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover is favorable. A quart sized bottle runs less than ten dollars. You can get quite a few cleanings out of a bottle this size. Because I do not use this product with great frequency, a bottle lasts a long time. If you are potty training a puppy, you will go through a bottle much quicker. You may find yourself buying a bottle every week. That can get a bit expensive, but if you are patient with your pet while they are learning, Nature's Miracle will help you erase their mistakes. I am very pleased with this product, and would give it five stars out of a possible five.
