Pros: Portable, seems rugged. Better for hikers, sailors, etc. Great software!
Cons: Small NON touch screen, no support for Mac; poor choice for Auto use.
The Bottom Line: I have to give this product an "average" rating just because it tries to operate in territory best left to the TomTom/Garmin/etc crowd.

I was given a PN-20 for Christmas, and I have to say that it is a very useful and well designed product. My biggest complaint about it is that the screen size is inadequate to be used while driving. It is also just a bit slow to draw maps when panning or browsing. If you still want to give this baby a try, I would suggest rechargeable batteries or the optional travel power kit (I just bought the former rather than go in for $50 for the latter) as it goes through a set of AA's in about 10 hours. I just today picked up a Garmin nuvi 200w and prefer it, although the Delorme does have a particularly nice feature the Garmin (I think) lacks; namely the ability to log a trip. This is handy for time tracking for job costing, etc. I power up the device when I leave in the morning, then make sure it is on for at least a few minutes at each stop. At the end of the day I can copy the file off the unit and see exactly what time I was at each location. The Delorme software is really the strongest part of the product, mine came with Topo 7. As an Intel Mac user, I *can* boot into Windows XP, but I wish Delorme would recognize that a lot of their "outdoors type" customers are also Mac people. I am going to hang on to this for sailing and for the logging feature, though I will probably continue to curse the small (though readable, even with the backlight off) screen and pokey refresh rate. Delorme, if you are reading, stop marketing this product for Auto use unless you include the mount and charger and double the screen size!
