The picture is crystal clear when the tv is connected to cable tv output which is not a surprise. VHF receptance (channels 2-13) is weak in comparision to a 2.5" old RCA that picked up more stations in the same area and the same telescopic antenna angle. UHF receptance (channels 14-69) was almost like the RCA, but still a little bit weaker. The car cord adaptor is NOT compatible with the TV!
The car cord adaptor's plug is bigger than the adaptor hole on tv which is a real downside.
The tv needs 10 AA batteries which does not make sense unless you use recharghable batteries. The battery compartment is detachable which is a good way to reduce the total weight. One of the best features of this tv is its ability to receive NTSC/PAL/SECAM standards (Under AV mode, PAL and NTSC; SECAM L is not available) which means one could use it in many other countries too.
Considering everything, this is a good 5" tv and the price seems reasonable. By the way, the real picture of this tv is not what they show in most webpages, go to the manufacturer's webpage for the correct picture.
