Great Review... (Reply to this comment)
by dagny21, in Kids & Family
But in defense of the restaurants I must say I've worked in several throughout my life(from fast food to 5 star), and at all of those, the cloths used to whipe down tables have been placed in a hot (sometimes almost too hot to handle) solution of water and bleach, which pretty much kills anything on them between table cleanings.
I don't let my son eat directly off a table at a restaurant either, but I just wanted to make this clarification. Whenever you watch a waitress whipe a table, you always think "gross" but really it's not.
Otherwise a great review.

Lucky you can get by with a plate. Alex has "moments" with plates and they end up getting tossed/dumped/ etc.

All these neat products come out on the market after my children are to old to use them! Oh well ... Although, I must say that this definitely would be a great shower gift/newborn idea!
Great review ...

Now, if only they could make these for adults to use :] Much like the kiddie jail, I know a few adults that could benefit from this :]

Cyndi,
Definitely check into them. They are available at Babies R Us, Toys R Us, some pharmacies (like Rite Aid, CVS, etc) and also online. Pricey but worth it in my experience!

Jo,
It changes by the minute. My sister is 4 yrs older than me and says the same thing. My son isn't even 2 yet and I look at all the new stuff and think, "COOL!". Maybe time for another one, right?

These sound great. I always wiped the table with a diaper wipe and then dried with clean napkins. Always wondered if that really got it clean when we were eating out. Tks for mentioning these.

I have some Blues Clues ones :)
The Sesame Street ones are actually a bit more colorful!

After reading your other review, I purchased a pack on my next trip to Babies R Us and I just love them! I got a 20 ct pkg too.. so they should last a while anyways :) I really wanted Blues Clues, but they only had Sesame Street, but that's okay b/c they feature Elmo :)
Great review as always MT!
